Merryhills Primary School

Roman Day

On Monday 8 December the pupils in Year 3 took part in Roman Day. Children and staff dressed up in roman costume and made standards, shields, coins, lamps and jewellery. They wrote on writing tablets and played roman games. A roman feast was prepared and eaten (sadly without doormice as they couldn’t find any in Asda!).

Year 3 had a fabulous time and would like to thank the parents who helped on the day.
