Book Week

We had an amazing book week with lots going on in school. On Book Character day each class chose the pupil they thought had the best costume. The staff also dressed up and we voted Miss Powell as our best dressed character. Here are our class winners and Miss Powell:

Merryhills Home Reading Library is in the news...

….our fabulous new Home Reading Library was officially opened during book week on Wednesday 10 February. The author Jonny Zucker did the honours and photographs were taken by local newspapers, The Enfield Gazette and The Enfield Advertiser.

Merryhills Haiti Earthquake Appeal

Our Haiti Appeal raised a staggering amount – over £1200 was donated. This amount included Gift Aid of £127. A massive thank you to all parents and children who contributed so generously!

Osmington Bay 2010 - YEAR 5 PARENTS - FINAL REMINDER

If you would like your child to take part in our school journey an initial deposit of £40 together with your permission slip will need to be handed into the school office no later than Monday 14 December.
If we do not hear from you by 14th we will assume you do not wish your child to take part and final numbers will be given to PGL to confirm our booking. Thank You

Year 6 trip to Osmington Bay 5 - 9 October 2009

Year 6 had a wonderful time at Osmington Bay
Our photos show the pupils taking part in various activities including Dragon Boating in Weymouth Harbour where the 2012 Olympic Sailing competition will take place!
