Partnership Sports

Six local schools participated in the above event on Friday 12 June. We are pleased that Merryhills were the 2nd overall winners. In addition to this fantastic achievement we also won first place in the relay events!!!

The Knit and Natter club

The Knit and Natter Club is held every Tuesday lunch time.
The children have been kniting squares to make a collage which is displayed in our corridor. They are now progressing on to knitting their own scarves.
Anyone is welcome to come along to have a knit and a natter.!!

YEAR 5 SWIMMING LESSONS

Swimming lessons for year 5 start again on Thursday 4 June and carry on every Thursday until 9 July, which will be the last one.

lOVE YOUR GROUNDS DAY .....

…was a fantastic success with the whole school taking part. Children completed the sensory trail in the morning and spent the rest of the day working collaboratively in mixed age groups on various creative activities. Sponsor money is already coming in and we would be grateful if you could get your money in as soon as possible.

The children in year 4 have had a fantastic week at Gilwell Park …..as our photos show!!

School Meals

With effect from Tuesday 21 April 2009 the cost of school meals will increase from £2.00 to £2.05 per day
