A Synagogue visit

Our Year 6 trips have been incredible! Recently, we went to the Southgate Progressive Synagogue where we had a terrific time learning and exploring the Jewish faith. We looked at the Torah scroll, the Ner Tamid and we had Challah bread and grape juice to represent the new week coming. 

We learnt about the features of the Synagogue and how their daily practices work. It was a great trip and we learnt a lot.
